The tournament tables are officially being removed from Home Turf this week.
Kopi is currently searching for a new place to hold the tournaments. If anyone has any ideas, speak up...
There may be a short time where there are no places to play foosball, but I suspect that he will find a place quite soon!
It's hard to say foosball will miss Home Turf...but I guarantee Home Turf will miss Foosball:)
I'll be happy wherever the tables end up going...as long as dont have to stand in pee puddles while trying to take a leak(See Home Turf bathrooms)

slophound: there are a few other of places in the Portland area that have Tornado tables. The Bull Mountain Grill, just across Hwy99 from the Turf, has a nice T3000. It's an upgrade in livability from the Turf. The Dublin Pub, on Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy, has 1 Brown Marble. The Dublin is a nice place; the table is in a good location, but it needs maintenance (and regulation balls). MacGuffeys in Hillsboro (near the airport) might still have one. That place is much like the Home Turf, and I haven't been in in a very long while, so don't know if the table is still there. It needed maintenance last time I saw it. Ballad Town Billiards in Forest Grove has two Redside Tornados. They are in good shape with good lighting. I play there each Tuesday. Not too many higher level players show anymore, but if there is interest, I'll start doing our regular tourneys again. We could do them on Saturdays, too, but I don't want to step on Kopi's toes. The Diamond Bar, on Main Street in Forest Grove has a TP2000 (free play) in good shape. Ask for the ball at the bar (your choice: red or white;'). There is a light over the table, but its about a 25W incandescent, so us old guys can't even see the ball....which evens the match some with the regulars that do play there;'). "Blitz" in SW Portland still has a table, last I heard. I heard it didn't have good lighting, but that may have changed. OM posted something on NWfoosball.com about another place in Portland..not sure where that is. If you work at the Nike campus in Beaverton, there are several tables sprinkled around, including a Fireball. The IBM breakroom (at 158th and Walker, in Beaverton) still has the old TP2000 we bought back in about 1993. The guys there still bat the ball around some, but most of those guys work from home so probably don't meet at the table much anymore. ...I may dredge up some more, but if you are serious about getting together with other foosers, there ARE places to play.
