Boise State at #5...ARE YOU SERIOUS!
What a slap in the face to the real college programs out there...who actually have to play more than one tough game per year.
I think Boise's schedule goes something like this: Georgia *1 big game Southern Mississippi women's volleyball Special Olympics football squad C Reed High School intramural squad Oregon Ducks clarinet team(probably toughest game of year) and so on...
And dont feel left out Seattle dudes...Washington Huskies are somewhere in the top 100:)

Ok Sac...the season hasnt even started and your already hatin on my Broncos....lol....even Floppy hasnt started yet. No Worries...I understand your feelings but you cant blame me?...I mean I know the Broncs dusted BOTH Oregon teams pretty bad the last two times we played them but I asked coach pete to take it easy on the Beavers but he said he was gonna make a example of em....and then I called coach pete in the 3rd quarter of the Ducks game and said "My God...Coach ...atleast let em get a 1st down!....he finally gave in and the Ducks got their 1st down at the end of the 3rd quarter....Coach Pete has this thing about winning...Oklahoma...TCU...Oregon State (Twice)...Oregon (Twice)...TCU (again)...Virginia Tech (In their house)...Utah (every time...lol...they havent scored a TD against Boise in 10 years)...BYU (by 60...lol...) and Georgia is fooish enuff to put us on their schedule....they get what they deserve.....Plus I hate the SEC....
Actually the Broncos have lost quite a few really good players....I dont expect them to go undefeated again...maybe 12-1.....But we still have the best QB in the nation (bar none)...and Doug Martin ....and on the defense we have 19 players that had 25 tackles last year ....can you say Depth!.....but no wide recievers.......that hurts....should be a fun year of college football though....I'm actually a Ducks fan too........cuz their our biotch......lol

You know I'm just trying to get you riled up rocket. I do respect the Broncos and what they have done over the past 5 or so years. Do I think they should be a national title contender? Yes...but but but, only if they have a worthy schedule. And this year...they don't.
If they were brave, and a little stupid, they'd look at transferring out of their conference. But, they are realists...they know their reign will only last as long as they are stuffed in that conference.
It has to chafe the SEC, PAC12, etc schools a little to see a team like Boise get that high of a preseason ranking...knowing full well that they SHOULD win every game on their schedule. No other team in college FB can look at their schedule and honestly say they should win every game(with exception of maybe 1 game, georgia) by a margin of 4 touchdowns or more.
Boise does have a half dozen or so good wins in the last dozen seasons, and yes a couple did come against the Ducks...BUT, hanging your hat on those 6 wins does zero for the future. They have to schedule half dozen of those games every season to have my respect. Maybe the Ducks lost to the broncos, but that was during some BRUTAL seasons, which in the end turned out very well for the Ducks. Boise is still hanging on to those wins, meanwhile Oregon is beating big schools week in and week out...too many to recall.

OUTSTANDING performance by Boise State. They looked like a very balanced team. I wish we would get to see them play against another good team before the national championship.
Oregon looked overmatched. LSU was just bigger and stronger...and Les Miles outcoached Kelly hands down. Hats off to LSU, they are a contender. If their schedule wasnt so brutal, i'd say they will be playing for the title.
And Oregon State...well..........

No surprise in my part of the country that Boise pulled Georgia's pants down and gave em a good spankin...only surprise was that boise had 3 defensive breakdowns that resulted in scores....dont see that very often...Boise just flat out way too good for Georgia...the game that stands out on Boise's schedule that might be dangerous is San Diego St. ...San Diego st has a great QB...and a high powered offense...
Boise seems to always win the big game....Oregon seems to always lose the big game ...against Boise 2 years ago...against Auburn last year....against LSU this year....
LSU looked good...alot of good athletes...but Oregon turned the ball over like AKD's fiveman....
If .....and right now its still a "IF"....Boise runs the table ...goes to a BCS game (again..and spanks whoever)...Kellen Moore will end up 50-2 as a starter ...2 losses being a 1 point loss to TCU when he was a freshman ...and a overtime loss to Nevada........Thats about as good as someone can be....He might be College footballs all time BEST QB .........................ever..... ;D

Sac....Boise is in a interesting situation here. I forsee several teams across the nation that will finish the season undefeated. Most of those teams will leapfrog Boise in the Polls. If Boise goes undefeated they will still be in a BCS game but not the big dance. Ironicly this might be the best Boise team hes actually had....I think Coach Chris Peterson is thinking ..the only way he has a chance is to blow everyone out early ...impressively...game not in doubt by the start of the 3rd quarter. This team is getting stronger and stronger...the help he might get is that Nevada, Toledo and Georgia will most likely win their congerence championship..(Georgia could lose another game and still win the Sec cuz South Carolina has the harder schedule)....I think its interesting to see if he actually starts running the score up on some of these teams.....he hasnt before but I was more aggressive than usual against Fresno St.
Kellen Moore is amazingly good......

They may have their best team ever, but not their best schedule ever... And Nevada cant win their conference, isnt boise still a WAC member? I agree that several CFB programs could finish the season undefeated, but this is football, and crazy things happen every year. Moore is crazy good, especially on that team. I think the pro's will give him a shot, and he will likely go in the first three rounds of the draft...but, 6 foot nothin doesn't usually fly in the NFL, which stands for Not For Littleguys. If Oregon wins out, they can and should leapfrog Boise, but they have a long road ahead of them, especially without the most explosive/dangerous player in college football:LaMichael James. I'm going by LaIsaac by the way. LaRocket, LaFloppy, LaFoz, LaTurk, LaJeff...hey, that works for any name.
